Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Recruit You platform ("the platform", "the service"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, subscribing, or otherwise using our service — whether as a job seeker ("candidate") or as a recruiter — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Recruit You is an Australian SaaS platform that automates your job search. We scan Australian job boards, score results against your stated preferences using AI, and generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and screening answers. We also operate an opt-in candidate pool that verified recruiters can search using AI matching and use to message candidates through the platform. Recruit You is a software tool: we are not a recruitment agency, employment agent, labour-hire provider, or career adviser, and we do not represent you to any employer or candidate.
The platform is currently offered as an early-access service. Features, plans, pricing, job sources, and limits described on the site may change, be withdrawn, or behave imperfectly while in early access. We may modify or discontinue any feature at any time. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you have already paid for, your remedy is set out in section 6.
You must be at least 18 years old and located in Australia to use Recruit You. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and yours (or that you are authorised to provide it), and that you are authorised to upload any documents you submit to the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold, or transferred. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account at our discretion, including where we suspect a breach of these Terms, fraud, or misrepresentation.
Recruit You offers the following (all prices in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable):
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. If a payment fails, we may suspend the relevant features until payment is made. We may change prices or plan inclusions with at least 14 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period, and your remedy if you disagree is to cancel before the change takes effect.
You may cancel any subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused runs, unused credits, or change of mind. Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 14): where the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies that law provides.
Scheduled runs are performed on a best-efforts basis at or around your selected time. Runs depend on third-party job boards, AI model providers, and infrastructure we do not fully control, and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or fail. Where a paid scheduled run fails entirely due to a fault on our side, your sole remedy (subject to the Australian Consumer Law) is a re-run or a pro-rata credit for that run, at our election. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform, that any particular job board will remain available as a source, or any minimum number of matches per run.
Resumes, cover letters, screening answers, match scores, and company research are generated by AI from the documents and preferences you provide and from publicly available information. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or statements that are out of date or wrong. You must review all generated content before relying on it or submitting it to anyone. By submitting a generated document to an employer or any other party, you adopt it as your own. Recruit You does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated content, match score, or company research, and does not guarantee interviews, recruiter contact, or employment outcomes.
Job postings shown on the platform originate from third-party job boards and employer sites. We do not create, verify, endorse, or control these postings, and we are not affiliated with the boards we scan. Postings may be inaccurate, expired, misclassified, or fraudulent. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment before applying to or engaging with any employer, and any application, interview, or employment relationship is solely between you and that party. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only.
Candidate visibility is opt-in on every plan. When you enable it, verified recruiters can find your profile — including via AI search and matching — and view your role preferences, seniority, salary range, skills, and location. Recruiters cannot see your full CV, email address, or phone number unless you separately enable contact sharing. Recruiters may send you messages through the platform; you are free to respond or not. You can disable visibility at any time, which removes your profile from the pool. Recruit You is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, any communication, negotiation, offer, or engagement between you and a recruiter or employer, including anything that occurs after you choose to share your contact details. We do not guarantee that any recruiter will view or contact you.
If you use the platform as a recruiter, you additionally agree that:
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these conditions without notice and, to the extent permitted by law, without refund.
You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service (including processing it through our AI providers to generate your documents and matches). You warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe any third party's rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or any law.
The Recruit You platform, branding, software, prompts, scoring systems, and all related intellectual property are owned by us and protected by Australian law. Documents generated for you from your own career data are yours to use for your personal job search. We retain no claim over the content of your generated resumes or cover letters. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that: the platform is provided "as is" and "as available"; all conditions, warranties, and guarantees not imposed by statute are excluded; and where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, it is limited (at our election) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of income, employment opportunity, business, goodwill, or data, arising from or in connection with the platform — including reliance on AI-generated content or match scores, the conduct of any employer, recruiter, or candidate, the content of third-party job postings, or any interruption or failure of the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims, however arising, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the four weeks preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) A$50. This section applies subject to section 14.
You indemnify us and our officers, employees, and contractors against all loss, damage, liability, and expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) content you upload or submit; (c) documents you send to employers or others, whether or not generated by the platform; (d) your dealings with any employer, recruiter, or candidate; and (e) your breach of any law or third-party right. This indemnity is reduced to the extent the loss is caused by our own negligence or breach.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you creates risk (legal, security, or otherwise) for us or other users. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your licence to use the platform ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including 12–16, 18, and 20–21) survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is required urgently for legal or security reasons. Continued use of Recruit You after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, your remedy is to cancel and stop using the platform before the changes take effect.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party job boards, AI model providers, hosting or payment providers, power or telecommunications failures, and government action.
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about the platform. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder continues in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a corporate restructure or sale of the business, with notice to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Before commencing any proceedings, you agree to first raise the dispute with us in writing and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out through the platform or visit our FAQ.
